Happy Haul-o-Ween From Ford!

The 2015 Ford F-150 showed off its toughness and capability recently by hauling this 1200 lb pumpkin.  The pumpkin measured 4 feet long, 5 feet wide and 3 feet tall.  The F-150 successfully met the challenge with ease.  A Happy Haul-o-Ween from Ford!

Added Sun Damage Protection on All-New 2015 Ford F-150

Ford has improved sun damage protection on the all-new 2015 Ford F-150.  The F-150 features specially developed parts to ensure it can stand up against fade and damage from sunlight. In addition, the interior is designed to minimize glare, making it easier to see gauges.  Ford tested the F-150 in two of its labs:  Central Lab where they simulated damaging UV sunrays and the Visual Performance Evaluation Lab where they were able to test for anti-glare by simulating a variety of sunlight conditions.

2015 Ford F-150 Features Seamless Sliding Rear Window

The all-new 2015 Ford F-150 will feature a segment-first seamless sliding rear window.  The new technology hides the window seams leading to a streamlined look and improved functionality.  This two-piece design adds to the new F-150s weight savings and also improves the defrosting capability of the surrounding glass.  The 2015 Ford F-150 arrives in showrooms later this year.

2015 Ford F-150 Offers Segment-First LED Headlamps

Reinventing the Ford F-150 meant evaluating every aspect of the vehicle's design, including the headlamps.  Ford lighting expert John Teodecki and his team turned to LED lighting which will be tougher, brighter, and more efficient.  No other light-duty pickup truck offers LED lighting.  After extensive testing, Ford engineers were impressed by the superior durability of the lights which can be expected to last five times longer than conventional bulbs.  Read more about the 2015 Ford F-150's LED lighting here.

Boosting the 2.7-liter EcoBoost’s fuel efficiency is the debut of standard Auto Start-Stop technology in the F-150. This technology, specially tuned for truck customers, shuts off the engine when the vehicle is at a stop – except when towing or in four-wheel drive – to give drivers power on demand when they need it most.
